Adventure Pack

Riley was quick to hop into the snow bank in front of the parking at the Chautauqua this morning. She tramped around on top of it for a while, sniffing and nibbling bits of snow here and there, while Ruffers and Sputnik stood on the pavement and sniffed around at the edge. The snow on the Mesa Trail was packed down, but not to the point of being slick, so the hiking wasn't too treacherous. We made several stops along the way for one pack member or another to check out a scent here and there; and there was one tree that drew all three of them for a good, long, investigatory stop.

Variety Pack

Rey and Zoey had a lot of fun chasing each other around the Red Rocks Trails at Settler's Park. Carl and Lou both got pretty worked up, seeing their packmates running. Rey frequently ran back over for a quick pass, which got Carl and Lou both to hop around - either to dodge or to intercept her. Lou had an upset stomach again, before the walk, and turned up some pebbles and a large chunk of a bully stick. I guess he is at the stage of puppyhood where he is actively testing the limits of his digestive capabilities.
