Adventure Pack

Griff and Colby both returned to the pack today, alongside Sputnik and Racer. Griff wasn't as much help with keeping Racer boxed in, because he was pulling ahead a bit himself for much of our walk along the Boulder Creek Path. Colby was our most well behaved pack member today. She trotted along right at my side on a loose leash. Sputnik walked pretty well, also; he just wanted to pull over to the side to leave scent marks every so often. When we went to the creek, Everybody hopped right in. When Griff, Sputnik, and Colby were done and ready to get walking again, Racer was still enjoying splashing around in the water. By the end of our walk, Griff and Racer both finally settled down a bit and started walking on loose leashes as well.

Variety Pack

Racer joined Isaac and Zoey for fetch at the Valmont Dog Park this afternoon. Isaac snagged most of the long throws, as he usually does; but, true to her name, Racer outran him one time and proudly returned to me with her round, furry, yellow prize. Racer was just as eager to hop into the kiddie pool as both Isaac and Zoey. Zoey eventually gave up on running around and found a spot under someone's chair where she could lie down and chew on her tennis ball, only giving it up to be thrown a few times after that.
