Friday Pack Activities (3/20/2026)
Bonus Pack It took some convincing to get Dylan to walk today, as he didn't want to go past his own property. After waiting, circling around, and nudging him enough times, he eventually gave in and started walking. We kept a slow pace, which wasn't hard because Racer, Bear, Lumi, and Arlo all wanted to sniff around and pee on things. Dylan only made a couple stops after getting going, and that was just because he nticed a smell he wanted to check out. Adventure Pack Lucy, Yos

Thursday Pack Activities (3/19/2026)
Bonus Pack Dylan, Milo, Lumi, Blu, and Gidget went for another neighborhood stroll. It was already nearing 80 F, so Dylan and Blu were panting pretty heavily by the end. Milo, Lumi, and Gidget were less impacted by the heat. We made it to the park today, but didn't walk all the way through it, and lingered in some shady spots along the way. The whole pack made friends with a sweet dog named Auggie who came over to sniff hello with everyone early on. Another dog came over and

Wednesday Pack Activities (3/18/2026)
Bonus Pack Dylan, Milo, Blu, and Gidget enjoyed another morning stroll along a neighborhood path this morning. We didn't make as many stops as yesterday, so we had time to walk through Parkside Park rather than just kissing the edge of it like yesterday. Adventure Pack Tozai, Nelly, Ruffers, and Bear stuck to the lower meadow trails at Chautauqua today. After winding our way through the meadow, we walked around the groomed, grassy Chautauqua Park. It was pretty busy, with lot

Tuesday Pack Activities (3/17/2026)
Bonus Pack Blu, Milo, Gidget, and Dylan went for a neighborhood stroll this morning. Blu and Dylan were both on the same page about stopping to sniff every budding bush along the way. Milo and Gidget happily stood by and waited, only joining in for some of the investigations here and there. Adventure Pack Racer walked in the ditch the whole way up Bluebell Road. Imogene, Arlo, and Griff joined her for a few stops, but mostly kept to the gravel road. The bat and butterfly were

Monday Pack Activities (3/16/2026)
Bonus Pack Racer, Gidget, Arlo, and Blu strolled to Wonderland Lake this morning. The air was brisk as the dogs sniffed the snow-draped landscape. It was pretty quiet at the lake, save for the song of a red-feathered blackbird who was perched atop a nearby stalk of wheat. Racer and Blu wanted to make some stops early on, and then we kept on the move pretty steadily for the rest of the walk. Adventure Pack The whole pack was very interested in the ditch along Bluebell Road at

Friday Pack Activities (3/13/2026)
Adventure Pack Yoshi and Tozai had a blast chasing and chewing on each other when they had some open trail where they could go wild off leash without other hikers to accommodate. They also did a great job of coming back to me when I called them, when some hikers did eventually approach. Meanhile, Nelly and Lou poked along calmly at my sides. Lou especially wanted to take her time. She always has, but she seems to move more and more slowly as time goes on. Nelly didn't drag be

Thursday Pack Activities (3/12/2026)
Adventure Pack Rey and Griff scouted ahead with calm and alert demeanors as we trekked Kohler Mesa today. They came back readily when I called them, and everyone waited patiently as I doled out treats. Everyone was being so good as some other on-leash dogs passed by on the trail, so they all got another round of treats. Racer and Arlo paused at the stream to take a drink on the way back down from the mesa. Rey and Griff weren't as thirsty. Variety Pack Our entrance to the Val

Wednesday Pack Activities (3/11/2026)
Adventure Pack Bear and Tozai wrestled around together a lot during our Mesa Trail hike today. By the end of the hike, they were both pretty wet with each other's slobber. The girls, in contrast, were very mild-mannered. Ruffers enjoyed nibbling on snow here and there; Nelly preferred drinking from the stream we crossed. The both just hiked quietly along the trail with me while the boys mixed it up. Variety Pack Dylan wanted to stick close to Martin Park on our afternoon walk

Tuesday Pack Activities (2/10/2026)
Adventure Pack Racer wanted to give the trail head a very thorough once-over at the start of our Chautauqua hike today. Then, after we headed back to the waste bins to make a deposit, she wanted to give the same spots a thorough twice-over. The rest of the pack also happily sniffed around the area, but Racer was definitely the one leading the diversion. Arlo whined at the first dog we passed on the trail, trying to will the dog to come play with him. When that didn't pan out,

Monday Pack Activities (3/9/2026)
Adventure Pack Tozai and Bear were pretty mellow when they were off leash together on Mesa Trail today. They did a little bit of bumping and jostling with each other as they explored ahead, but they didn't break out into any chases or wrestling matches. Rey is healing with some stitches in her shoulder. Tozai and Rey were wrestling around and chewing on each other a bit in the packmobile. I kept their off-leash times separate so their roughhousing wouldn't interfere with the
