Adventure Pack

Mamacita, Sputnik, Rucksack, and Roger Roger enjoyed hiking up the Red Rocks Trails from Settler's Park this morning. There were very few other hikers around. The dogs thoroughly enjoyed their stops in the ditch stream. Sputnik was the first one out each time, while Mamacita was the last. After our first stop at the stream, we approached a switchback to head up to the Red Rocks. Knowing the way - and showing a little more enthusiasm than lately - Mamacita cut the corner and went up just ahead, while me and the rest of the pack rounded the corner the long way. After we came down from the mountain, we walked Boulder Creek for a bit. It was a pretty mellow outing for the pack.

Variety Pack

Oliver, Avo, Zoey, and Isaac walked around Wonderland Lake with some nice cloud cover this afternoon. Avo and Isaac each had fun wiggling around on their backs in the grass at different points, while Oliver and Zoey kept upright throughout. Avo tried to take her leash in her mouth a few times when she was a bit worked up after her wiggles. She didn't make too much of a fuss when I corrected her, and she gave up on the leash-chewing pretty quickly.
