Friday Pack Activities
Rucksack, Roger Roger, Sputnik, and Mamacita walked the Bear Creek Path this morning. There weren't many other travelers out, but we did pass one German Shepherd with an unfriendly attitude. Sputnik and Mamacita both to bristle a bit when the German Shepherd started barking at us as we passed along the far side of the sidewalk. Rucksack and Roger Roger, always the pleasant and happy, were unfazed by the encounter. Mamacita chomped on some snow in the park at the end of our walk. I thought she was going to plop down and wiggle in it, but she just ate it.
Oliver sniffed around in the snow early on in our walk along the Boulder Creek Path. After he found the right spots to relieve himself, he avoided venturing back into the snow for the rest of the walk. Meanwhile, Avo wanted to spend as much time tromping through the snow as she could. When we made a stop along the way, Avo started dropping into play-bows to invite her packmates to have some fun. Ruffers was first to take her up on the offer, and the two of them hopped around together for a bit. Then, Benny started play-bowing to draw Avo's attention, and Avo responded by hopping right over to him. All the action got Zoey worked up, and she started spinning around in the middle of everybody. After they had their fun for a minute, I had to have them all settle down so they wouldn't get too tangled and we could get back to the walk.
