Tuesday Pack Activities
Adventure Pack
Colby was very interested in sniffing the freshly-formed mud from spots along the trail where the layer of packed snow has finally melted due to this recent spell of warm weather. Sputnik's nose was mainly directed toward tree trunks, as it typically is. Griff and Racer did a little sniffing here and there, but not with the same focus of purpose that their packmates had.
Variety Pack
Ruffers, Isaac, Milo, Rey, and Zoey all walked along the Bear Creek Path together this afternoon. Squirrels were out in force today, and Ruffers nearly bolted out of the packmobile after them as soon as I opened the car door to begin our walk at Martin Park; but I caught a hold of her leash before she managed to slip by. Once we started walking, Rey took notice of the squirrels and kept trying to lunge in their general direction. Isaac, Milo, and Zoey, on the other hand, all carried themselves with poise despite the classic, dog-specific allure of frolicking squirrels.
Boarding Pack
Benny, Oliver, Cooper, Mamacita, Rucksack, and Roger Roger were all eager to get out for a neighborhood walk to Wonderland Lake Park this afternoon. It was warm and beautiful out. Everyone was very interested in investigating the scents along the same stretch that yesterday afternoon's group was drawn to. Even little Oliver, who usually likes to stick to the paved path, braved the off-road terrain to get a noseful.
