Wednesday Pack Activities

Adventure Pack

The pack did a lot of sniffing at the trail head again today. Once everyone was satisfied, we started our ascent. Then, we made lots more stops as Mamacita, Ruffers, Sputnik, and Curie all kept finding spots they wanted to investigate further. After the initial ascent, our stops became much less frequent. We encountered a few other dogs along the way, and all passed by as the pack calmly trotted along with me.

Variety Pack

Rey, Zoey, Roger Roger, Poppy, Isaac, and Dylan all enjoyed some off-leash time at CU South this afternoon. They all formed a line to splash through the ditch beside the trail together. When they weren't doing that, Rey and Poppy were racing each other up and down the trail. Roger Roger followed Zoey around and they hopped and dodged with each other. Isaac tried to keep the herd together by running up and checking whoever was furthest away at any given moment. Dylan avoided Isaac's harassment, as he stayed at the middle of the pack. Rey and Poppy, who were the most rambunctious, got the most attention from our pack herder. I forgot my phone in the car today, so I didn't get any photos of the pack's play; but they all had a lot of fun romping on the trail today.
